The Date: A you probably know, my wife is pregnant and about 24 weeks along. It has been a busy week for us and will continue to be a busy weekend for us, so here's what we are going to do for our date. We will sit down, tonight, and talk about baby names! Of course, we've thrown around names here and there, but we have yet to sit down and dedicate time to this, so I am really looking forward to it!
Our first son's name has no significance to us, other than the fact that we liked the name, although we do try to pick a family name for the middle name. It is often overwhelming to go to some baby-naming websites, because they have tens of thousands of names without a good way to narrow them down, but since we like mainstream classic names, the popularity rankings probably work as good as anything else. I this will be a good date because, (1) we will be having in depth conversation, (2) we will be sort of planning our future, and (3) nothing makes us happier than talking about our children.
