As I thought about and wrote my last blog post on the 4 fundamentals of being a good husband, I found an interesting statistic which, while not a surprise, is somewhat troubling.
As I was playing around with different keywords on Google AdWords Keyword Tool and noticed the following:
Global Searches for "how to be a good husband" -- 60,500
Global Searches for "how to be a good wife" -- 1,500,000
Yep - that's right, it appears that women are 25x more likely to search for tips on being a better spouse. I believe that a desire to be better is 90% of the battle and with a little effort we all can be better (even if it is just googling for tips!). In conclusion, there's either more wives out there who need improvement (NO WAY!), or some husbands just don't care about being better (probably true to a degree), or many men are to hard-headed to seek external tips and advice (yep).
So, humble yourself and realize you should and can be a better husband, and seek help in some way if what you're doing is not working!
