What Qualities Does Your Wife Want in a Husband?

A couple months ago I created a survey for wives, so I could learn a little bit more about what is important to them in a husband as well as to glean some of the greatest opportunities that we have to become better husbands. Currently, 48 wives have taken this survey, and I think we can learn a lot from the results.

I am going to be sharing some insights from the survey with you through a series of posts. For this first one we will focus on the following survey question:

How important, to you, are the following qualities in a Husband? Please rank them from 1-7, 1 being the most important:

Going into the survey I knew that we would be able to learn a lot from this question. I have a good idea about what my wife thinks is important, but that may not necessarily be what YOUR wife thinks is most important.  By averaging the results of 48 women, we can get a general idea about what wives want from their husband.

So, without further ado, here's what wives want their husband to be; in order of importance: 

1. Faithful (Average Rating: 3.13)


2. Honest (3.29)


3. Attentive (3.28)


4.  Selfless (4.24)


5.  Romantic (4.48)


6.  Sensitive (4.56)


7.  Motivated (4.57)

So what do you think? does anything surprise you? Do you think this fits with what your wife would say?
